The Sustainable Energy Centre (SEC) is a flagship commercial demonstrator, now being built in the UK. It uses unique technology that revolutionises the efficiency of 2nd generation fuel synthesis, and includes a cutting-edge syngas engine and testing facility. The SEC technology can be applied to a wide range of sectors, and the compact plants can be deployed next to industrial heat users, data centers, or embedded within community housing schemes.

Our technology lets us take low grade biomass and waste and convert it to high value end products in a compact, modular configuration. Compared to inferior existing technologies we offer the capability to convert a large range of waste feedstocks into a versatile energy product – a clean, pressurized gas vector with high Hydrogen content.
Multiple end product applications are possible. The technology allows economic feasibility irrespective of power purchase price, gate fees and other conventional drivers. It allows embedded generation into new and existing infrastructure where heat and power can most effectively be used, providing community and economic benefit.
